We added a new page to the site called "The Birthday Club." On this page we will list "Happy Birthday" wishes to our members and remind everyone else to greet members on their special day.

I noticed some of you did not indicate a birthdate on your profile (can this be just a girl thing??)... please update this (and ... you don't have to give us a year :-).  Once you update the profile we can add your special day to the page and salute you on the date God blessed us with your arrival!  We will check the page periodically.

"The Birthday Club" will be updated weekly, however, our volunteer staff is limited, so if we miss yours ... feel free to remind us!" :-) Jump in... if you have some ideas you'd like to share that will make the Birthday Club extra special... let us know!

So I am reflecting on life and not sweating the little things. I was talking with my sister on the fear of getting older and life balance.

I said I noticed that we are the backbone to the household. We take care of everyone and the last person is always ourselves.

She retired 3 years ago and had problems breathing. Being persistent with her doctor who kept dismissing it they found that she had lung cancer. She had surgery and a portion of her lung was removed. She thought it was cut out, gone, that's it. Her frustration over being tested, going for follow up appointments finally hit home that you're not clear yet.

It made me think that we all should take better care of ourselves, get all preventive care, and to lean on each other for support. Also be persistent with your doctors for testing.

I wrote a poem for my sister called "C" I Hate You and published in my book "Loving Me" . I read it to her while she was in the hospital and again when she recovered. She smiled at her little sister and a tear ran down her cheek.

    Be Blessed

Unfortunatley, I've missed the last two Connect sessions due to situations and emergencies beyond my control. Thus, through all the mock blessings are being bestowed upon me with opportunities to expand my services as a Publicist and/or Consultant.

On Monday, I was invited to a business dinner with a team of Brand Management and the Manager of a Artist's from Jamaica West Indies. This particular artist's is quite big in Jamaica however, the management wants to expand the leverage in the United States. Commencing in New York now in order to create a brand, publicity and  video shoots, adequate time needs to be alotted for fruition.

How would one go about obtaining a Visa for this particular situation?
