Singleton Newman is a music industry professional from Washington, DC. At the tender age of 12, she made a decision to take her love for the arts and turn it into a profession. Upon graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Management from Hood College in 2006, Singleton decided to step into the entertainment industry full force. In 2006, she founded New Hope Management, a boutique management and music marketing agency and took on her first client, her father, guitarist Tom Newman. Between 2006 and 2014, she worked with various record labels and media outlets such as Government Official Music Group, Three Keys Music Group, Steel Bars Entertainment, Da Beat 1650 AM,, Radio One’s WOLB 1010 AM, indie podcasts The Kitchen and Power & Economics and Worldwide Flava Network.

In 2009, Singleton officially assumed the position of A&R with independent record label Motivated Artist Making Records and later Vice President where she was instrumental in the operation of the label and the music projects of its various artists.  Her wide variety of experience in the music and media world has made her a well-respected person and “go-to” for high profile music, media and event projects.

Singleton Newman is currently the owner of New Hope Digital, a leading social media management agency based in Baltimore, MD. She is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS-Recording Academy), Washington Area Music Association (WAMA), Organization of Women in Entertainment (OOWE), National Association of Black Female Executives of Women in Entertainment (NABFEME), and the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN). Singleton credits God, her family, and close friends for their love and support.
