A member of the original founding board of NABFEME ... if you asked Ramona Harrison Hardy what business she’s in, she would probably respond: “I’m in the business of taking care of business.”

Ramona currently serves as the Information Technology (IT) Recruitment Manager for the Social Security Administration (SSA). She is responsible for all entry-level IT recruitment and staffing. Prior to this position, she held several other positions within SSA including: Technical Training Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst, Customer Service/Relationship Manager, Software Developer, and Social Insurance Specialist. Ramona also represents SSA on the Federal CIO Council’s IT Workforce Committee where she serves as Chair of the annual IT Job Shadow Day program. An active supporter of the community in which she lives, Ramona is a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and serves as an Advisor to the Youth & Young Adult Ministry and the Health Ministry at her church, Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Ramona holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Lane College in Jackson, TN and an M.S. degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband and two children.
