NY AIDS Walk

Devastated when she learned she was HIV Positive, Maria Davis decided to turn things around by dedicating her life to educating people about HIV and AIDS. Maria
contracted the virus unknowingly from her soon-to-be-husband and while in the hospital near death her spiritual calling was revealed to her.
Maria knew that she had to devote her life to educating women, men and children about HIV/AIDS. She told her story in the book Souls of My Sisters. On May 19th Maria Davis will walk in the New York AIDS Walk and the women of NABFEME/Women Who Jam will join her team and walk right along beside her!
