Combining thought leaders from entertainment, business, city government and the local community... the evening is electrified by soul-stirring music performances. The Elephant in The Room takes the dive head-on into issues we tend to avoid but know we desperately need to address.
If we as a culture and community do not take the lead in solving problems that impact our lives... those problems may never be resolved. NABFEME aims to initiate discussions and empower communities with inspiration and ideas on dealing with the unspoken social issues plaguing our neighborhoods. Mental Health, Social Injustice, Missing and Exploited Women, Domestic Violence, Gun Violence, HIV, Bullying, and the Sexualization of Women in Music are just a few of the "Elephants" we will address!!
