The NABFEME "parent site" reflects NABFEME’s extensive growth. It showcases our position as a world-class leadership organization which provides access, information, leadership exchange and development for Black women in music and entertainment,” comments Johnnie Walker, President and Founder of the organization. “While the NABFEME Member site is a connection point for our Members... the "parent site" freshens our online look and makes us more appealing to a wider demographic… I am personally inspired by our teams who work together and contribute to the sustainability of NABFEME.  Zina Brown, Vice President East and Atlanta Network Director served as the site’s project lead while member, Kareeman El-Amin performed as the site’s designer.”

Opening its doors in the year 2000, NABFEME supports and empowers Black female creatives, professionals and technicians in music, entertainment and related industries.  With 20 active Networks, more than 3,500 women worldwide have joined this stellar nonprofit organization, whose primary purpose is to encourage and assist the career development of women of color in entertainment.
