Brief Bio
Valerie J. Fullilove is a writer/producer and author who is originally from Long Island, New York now residing in Northern New Jersey. As CEO of Trinity Park Productions, Valerie is determined to bring inspirational, entertaining, and thought-provoking projects to her audience. Valerie is currently working on several very exciting projects. She has been commissioned by an author to turn a published book about a former New York Yankee, into a screenplay. She is also in pre-production on an original T.V. Series pilot entitled “TRAP”. She is diligently working on finishing her other screenplay projects in various stages of completion.
Her Screenplay “Iron Sharpens Iron” was nominated “Best Screenplay” in the 2017 Newark International Film Festival, and her screenplay “Laura Lee” was nominated “Best Screenplay”, in the Atlanta International Film Festival in 2006. Her stage play “FREE” was chosen for a staged reading in the grand opening of New Jersey’s multi-media center; “The Warehouse” in 2014. Valerie felt honored when “Laura Lee” was selected by the New York chapter of the “I Can Still Do That Foundation” for their first New York City “Stage Reading Series” beginning June of 2012. Her play “When Doves Fly” co-produced with Phoenix Ensemble Theater Company, opened with four sold-out performances at Newark Symphony Hall in 2006. The play was also performed in multiple schools and colleges within the tristate area in 2006 and 2007. Afterward, Valerie produced an excerpt of the play “When Doves Fly” entitled “Beloved,” which was performed at The Love of Jesus Family Church in Orange, NJ in 2008 and again in 2015. Valerie also wrote and produced a play entitled “Azuza Street” for the Drama ministry at her church in 2010.
In addition, to play and screenwriting, Valerie is a poet and a BMI songwriter, often including her original songs in her plays and movie scripts. Valerie was the Executive Producer for a Gospel CD entitled “The Prize” – by Astronomix in 2010 and wrote and produced a Gospel House song entitled, “My Joy” on recording artist Taana Gardener in 2017. Valerie has performed her poetry for the Love of Jesus Family Church and also for their website.
Valerie successfully completed an intense nine-month professional screenwriting course and workshop under the direction of Hal and Cheryl Croasmun of the LA-based ScreenwritingU in 2012. She just completed a novel and two children's books. Valerie continues to educate and challenge herself in order to remain current with industry standards and trends
